Our Occupational Medical Practitioners (OMPs) bring extensive and diverse experience in Occupational Health and related medical services. They ensure that every workplace health program is medically sound, compliant with South African Occupational Health and Safety legislation, and aligned with international best practices. Our OMPs are recognized certified practitioners with the American Medical Association (AMA), registered with the South African Society of Travel Medicine (SASTM), and qualified for Aviation Medicine, enabling them to deliver specialized assessments for aviation and high-risk industries.
We have a collective of skilled professionals, including Occupational Health Nursing Practitioners (OHNPs), Safety Officers, and qualified Trainers and Assessors, work in harmony to promote workplace wellness and safety. Through expert clinical care, structured assessments, and proactive training, they empower organizations to maintain healthy, compliant, and high-performing environments.
Dr. Millicent Tlakula
Dr. Millicent Tlakula is a highly qualified Occupational Medical Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in occupational health and safety across diverse industries. As the Director of OSHEQS, she provides strategic leadership and builds strong client partnerships, ensuring the highest standards of workplace health, safety, and compliance.
She holds an MBChB, a Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Medicine, and a Master’s in Management of Technology and Innovation, complemented by specialized certifications in Travel Medicine, Aviation Medicine, Maritime Medicine, and designation as an Approved Medical Practitioner under the National Nuclear Radiation Act.
Dr. Tlakula’s strong academic foundation and extensive practical expertise position her as a trusted leader in advancing occupational health practices that safeguard both employees and organizations.
